I love Torani syrups! My family has been buying them for years! I am also pretty sure that Starbucks uses these syrups, right? I love the Pumpkin Spice Latte and Salted Caramel Mocha from Starbucks – what perfect fall drinks! But they don’t have the SF pumpkin pie syrup or the SF salted caramel syrup, which totally upsets me! I just had to check Torani’s websites, and, low and behold, they had both! And for $7.95 for each 750 mL bottle!
As soon as I received my package in the mail, I ripped it open! I’ve made cups of coffee using each syrup at different times. I use the recommended serving size (sometimes a little less, even), which is 2 tablespoons of the syrup. Each syrup has 0 calories, 0 grams of sugar, 0 grams of fat, 0 grams of basically everything, except for a little sodium and a little carbs, which I can handle for my own at-home Pumpkin Spice Latte and Salted Caramel Mocha!! The only thing that bothers me is that each is sweetened with Splenda. Splenda is not natural; it is chemically processed. It has been proven that Splenda can cause kidney problems. I’ve even heard that it causes joint pains. Is all of this is exactly correct? I’m not too sure. All of this changes every day. One day, we hear something is good for us, and the next, it’s something that will kill us. SO, it’s times like these when I’m okay with it. I don’t have it every single day, so I’ll live! “I will survive.”
I love the flavor of both of these. I put the recommended serving size with roughly 1.5 tablespoons of organic half&half into a hot cup of coffee, and it tastes amazing! I don’t even need to add sugar to it! It’s sweet, but not overly sweet. And the flavor is strong, but not too strong! I think it’s just right, and you all should try it out!
